Used in Korea for centuries, this fermented red chili hot sauce is becoming hot! Unlike any other Gochu Jang out there, our ingredients are simple and authentic. The way we make it is traditional, just as our Korean grandmothers have made for centuries. It starts with steeping malt in water, just like brewing beer, building a base for fermentation that results in booming flavors of spicy, sweet, savory, and fruity.

How to Store:

I am impressed that this does not contain gluten, soy, fructose corn syrup, and preservative. It is very healthy conscious. I would choose this always as long as it is manufactured in the facility free of 8 main allergen. One thing I mention is FRESH smell of red hot pepper powder smell. When I used it with cooking, it was gone though. I assume this fresh red hot pepper smell would go away as the time passes, or as aging.
I appreciate you creat this here. I hope still you can use red hot pepper powder from local produce or this continent.
